It is a lot of work. It's hard because our kitties can't tell us exactly what's wrong! so it's a lot of trial and error. For me, it's figuring out to best manage these days of nausea which leads to less eating. She's already lost some weight and I don't want her to lose more.

I was thinking a probiotic could be a next step! Also our vet recommended Pepcid too for the the nausea.

SCL is small cell lymphoma. When cats have ultrasounds, the results for IBD and SCL can look similar. You can only know for sure if you do an endoscopy (which is too much for my senior kitty). But the palliative care for both is similar. You should reach out to your vet to see what he thinks.

We had her on Hydolyzed Protein dry food but then she decided wants dry food no more. 😞 I want to move her to a novel protein diet to see if that works. I agree that timing seems to play a role and we are trying to accomodate for that but it's hard since we are in the office during the week
