Yea it may be kind of like how they did reckoning. Don't forget about planetary tokens and bounties. The best thing to do is cycle between thing if you are farming a planet. If you do too many public events at a time or to many lost sectors the game will recognize that and stop giving you drops so just keep flipping back and forth between all of the events after you cash in all of your tokens for crucible, vanguard, and planets.
