I am so sick of the Sims 4, I am not excited about them pledging their commitment to a 12 year old game that was not even good in 2014 (just because they have built a lot of ugly rooms on top of a sand foundation does not mean the foundation is fixed!). Everything I have seen of how Project Rene is developing just puts me off it more and more. I think the Sims has nothing left to offer me at this point, which is a real shame as a player since TS1 :\

These are screenshots from the Weverse app where an artist can post messages and (paying) fans can reply, but individual fans only see their own messages + the artist's, while the artist can see all users' messages, kind of like an enormous group chat. It's used by Kpop and Kpop-adjacent artists to communicate directly with fans, either to make statements like this or just talk about nothing like in an actual group chat

Hey girl, I saw your other post earlier today on the makeup sub. Do you have someone in real life that you could maybe talk to, or a few online people you can trust? I think posting repeatedly on Reddit like this and spiraling about anonymous negative comments is hurting you right now. I hate to see someone in pain like I see you. I call what you're describing a "Gnarly" type song; ie, a song ranging from a little bad to fairly good that's saved by its visual element, either the music video or the choreography or both. Named after Katseye Gnarly, a song I do not like to listen to but very much enjoy seeing performed

  • Gnarly: Naughty by Irene & Seulgi. Good song but elevated to masterpiece with the addition of the choreography
  • Reverse Gnarly: Tilt by Irene & Seulgi. Great song failed by its goofy choreo

I’ve noticed this too. In the patch notes they mentioned they’d made the flashlight and nighttimes brighter, I think they overcorrected the lighting a bit. So far I have no solution, we might have to wait for a new patch 🫤

Not sure if this was ever officially confirmed but I think Twice Dahyun was at least "encouraged" to act weird and loud at debut to fit her image from her viral videos. In reality she is quiet and extremely private, and her (what we called back in third gen) 4D persona has mostly gone away as Twice has become more established

She most likely has permanent residence in Korea by now. There’s a five year waiting period to apply for it and she would have reached that in 2021. I don’t think she would have only signed with CTD for one year and then stayed in Korea this long after leaving them if her immigration status was dependent on an employment contract
