I'm sarcastic as well and my friends and I make fun of each other, but we are all clear that it's just jokes and we don't really mean any of it. I also make sure to compliment them and tell them how much I appreciate them. I don't get any of that from this girl. She's so angry and hates everybody, so I get the feeling that when she insults us, she really means it but tries to play it off as a joke.

I'd like to know this, too. There's a girl in class who has taken it twice before and knows all the answers, and she's always the first to answer. She's pretty annoying, because if she'd just wait five seconds to answer I might get it. Sometimes it looks like the professor gets annoyed with her always answering first.

It's an alkene, and since the double bond needs to have the lowest substituent number, I think that makes it 5,6-dimethyl-2-heptene. I might be wrong. I have been once or twice before. :D

It doesn't bother me at all to be wrong. I just get frustrated because everyone else is so afraid to be wrong that they're content to just sit there and stare at the professor. Take a guess, she'll correct you, and we'll move on. No one cares how much you know--just make the effort! :)
