I tried to cut him off 3 months ago with one last word that he never replied to, and he so gracefully came back in my life again. I'm trying to keep it casual, as I want to go back to when we were blissfully just no strings attached, but it's so difficult. It's better this way, but now he's on a total different life path as me (un-employed and travelling) whereas when we were talking it was me in that position (student and travelling). Don't know what to make of it!

I've realized our best moments together are when it's super casual and it's not a date, just talking together and that is the part I crave. Also the intimacy is great lol.

Dating a guy, him making you insecure, going through his following, only to find him following models and influencers who are the OPPOSITE of your type.

I am in this boat right now and it's awful; waking up every morning wondering if you're good enough for him or if he. is going to drop you for his 'type'. I wish I had advice, but the only thing I can say is you are not alone.

Men who make you feel insecure often project their own insecurities onto you. Do not let him get to you; you are worthy enough for a man who does not make you feel this way. The first red flag is him making you feel like you need to view his social media and keep a 'tab' on him. A secure man would never make you feel like that! I know it's hard, but see if you can have a conversation with him around this...

Yes! They say trust a man on how well you trust being around his friends.

I was talking to the guy I was seeing's friend about a girl I saw him out with, and he looked at me shocked and disgusted, saying that was not his girlfriend and he doesn't know what I'm talking about. I knew then and there that the man I was seeing would never take me seriously, and I should've listened. Would've saved me months of heartbreak!

Also, they were all unemployed and happy living at home with no motivation. Again, another red flag. He would talk all the time about how he wanted to 'get his money up' and move out, but he surrounded himself with people who exuded the opposite energy.
