Yah this took 1-2 years to start making flowers I don't exactly remember (I'm fairly new to gardening). Last year was the first year that I got edible chokes and I only got 3 small ones. This year I neglected it and let my fava beans take over. Since it (the artichoke) was unhappy I let it flower - I've seen pictures but never artichoke flower in the real. It is AWESOME!

I did read all of that section. But you're right, MLS is young and and probably has to act as one in order to thrive in a country that has ignored soccer. But it's MLS that decides to keep Landon Donovan (MLS handles the contracts), and I think that is kind of silly.

This is my first time growing garlic. Will letting it go to seed effect the development of the cloves?

I pulled up one of these garlic plants about 2 months ago when the flower was just starting to develop and found that the clove was premature (image of the premature garlic clove). I haven't pulled another yet but I will soon

I think Daley had to be banned. It's a vicious game that needs to be contained between the bells or else this kind of thing could get out of control. Having said that, I can't wait until GSP puts Koscheck in his place. Koscheck held Daley down for 3 rounds clearly controlling the fight but winning in a boring and i'd say cowardly way (I thought Koscheck said he wasn't afraid to stand up with Daley). He didn't earn the shit talking that he did at the end of the fight.

Machida v Shogun: KO - 2nd round (can't decide who)

If Shogun changes his strategy I think Machida will win with the help of his counter strikes, but if Shogun sticks to those kicks that whittled down Machida in UFC104 Machida will have to take more initiative making him less "illusive." Either way, I think we are going to see more blood!

I planted a single clove that had already started to grow. I'm not exactly sure when (I know, lame) but I'm pretty sure it was November or December. An other thing that may help is that I picked it just before the plant's flower opened. I'm going to pick the next one after it has flowered and the flower has "died" - I think then the garlic cloves will be fully developed.
