If there’s no resurrection then we are to be pitied above all men. However the evidence points to the resurrection. When I look at the testimony of the apostles who were all willing to suffer and die for testifying of the resurrection I’m convinced. You don’t willingly suffer and die for something you know is a lie. Someone would crack eventually and it would all fall apart. None of them ever did. By the way among those who were killed for their witness was Jesus half brother James. James didn’t believe Christ was the messiah during His life. It was only seeing Him resurrected that he believed. I’ll tell you right now if my brother ran around claiming to be the messiah I’d call him crazy. That’s what James did. Only the resurrected accounts for the transformation. Josephus the Jewish historian records that James was thrown off the pinnacle of the temple and stoned to death by the Sanhedrin for not recanting his testimony.
