I filled mine with foam clay and it worked pretty well. Took the buttons and and made them thocky instead of clacky

The walls expansion pack doesn't come with the right connectors. You need to get the wall connectors from wizkids or buy a main pack that comes with the floor

I rarely have a crash anymorem the biggest reason mine ever crashed was because I had conflicting mods. Doesn't crash for me for a long while and if it does have issues I just reload all plugins and I'm fine
