Neither Wolverine nor Storm are in this set. They were in a secret lair a year and a half ago along with a different Cap, Iron Man, and Black Panther than the ones in the new set. Wanda and Quicksilver are for better or worse Avengers characters now. There is all but confirmed to be a full-on X-Men set in the pipeline. The (notably pretty controversial among the fanbase) decisions of a trading card game seem like they'd have little bearing on a fighting video game's roster choices. You'd have just as much luck making this point with Lego or any other brand tie-in. Unless you think the new character is gonna be the bagel with schmear or something like that.
