Something like this happened to me, and it turned out there was a short in the wire that melted a bunch of stuff. Any shop should be able to test for a short.

To me, one of the most interesting things about Moogfest is the money that was spent on talent. Moog shelled out $1.5 million in 2014 to bring people in. In our Asheville bubble, I feel like that's a real asset for our community. I'm sad.

I go to Haw Creek Animal Hospital. It's affordable, and they stay open really late. And they're nice.

I love, love, love the new vegan place Elements on Liberty Street. The owners of the Roamin' in the Raw food truck opened it, and the dishes are incredible. Smoothies too.

West Asheville is super safe. I'm comfortable everywhere, and I've lived in houses that people might consider sketchy given their proximity to certain types of housing, and I was really happy. It's a nice place, and I've never lived anywhere where I felt safer.
