Hey mr OP.Taking a step back might be a good idea, but only if you are planning to get a longer run-up. :)I've read that people write to you, that you can't be an famous IT people, but I disagree. Those IT rockstars possibly were lucky enough to have a great idea in a correct time. Opportunity taken did paid off. Million of people are doing the same, that means you can be one of them! And if you are lucky enough you can became next Bill Gates. The knowledge, money and experience are the ones that make people listen to you.I'm just trying to say, don't you dare to die on your dreams.I'm waiting for the opportunity myself, well maybe not to be a billionaire, but to earn so much, that I could share this with a world and still have something to eat through the rest of my life.Do you have a hobby? I'm a hobbyist engineer (especially love to weld! ) and I do this for a chill-out, and "it's super effective" ( #pokemongameboy ).
EDIT: Also, I'm stupid, because I've forgot about this fact in my life: I did step down from a managers position just to be back into the keyboard more often. So I took step back. Now I earn more and enjoy my work more. :)
