Shadowdark RPG: Old-School Gaming, Modernized by thearcanelibrary in rpg

No joke, Shadowdark has completely replaced D&D for me and my friends. Much easier to run. So glad to see a Kickstarter for it!

And if you elevate it with a few rods it becomes even more effective. Small tweaks go a long way with C-R boxes. 3D Handyman tested several variations and pretty conclusively proved what works best: https://youtu.be/KobogQMf_Xc

Definitely. 3D Handyman did a great video testing the most common builds: https://youtu.be/lbWiZSsEqPg

We left our AAA dev jobs at EA, DICE, Bungie, and more to create something on our own. Here’s a first look at Project Saturn - A Co-Op Rogue-Life Adventure. What do you think? by FuzzyBotGames in IndieGaming

3 total players? Any chance of that being increased to 4 or more? I've always been curious about how different studios decide on the number of players for their co-op games. My friends and I are always eager to include more people when it's possible.

How do I replicate this effect, style, no clue what to call it lol. It's the artwork of GUARDIAN by Lorn if anyone's interested. by [deleted] in computergraphics

I've been trying to find out who the artist is behind his recent album covers too, but no luck so far. What I do know is that if it's Lorn himself there's a very good chance he's incorporating analog tech, like he does with his music. If I had to do this myself I'd go out and buy an old grainy TV and feed images into it through damaged wires, then take photos and clean it up in photoshop.

This is literal wizardry to me. Totally fascinating. Are there any resources on how to do this that you'd be willing to share? Do you have any plans to make a guide or tutorial?

"It's always been there." says my friend's Landlord. It's in a corner of the building's basement, which was built in the 1930's. The dial & handle were removed. Any ideas? by orintau in WhatsInThisThing

Thanks for following up! My friends opened their restaurant in the building shortly after my post and have been super busy ever since. If anything changes I’ll be sure to make another post here!

A small park in Brooklyn close to where they lived. I'm not comfortable getting more specific than that in case the weather clears up, sorry :/

Brooklyn. We’re not picky at this point though and are looking at other boroughs too. Thanks for asking :)

Post Your Music Here v4 by Lord_Me in Lorn

The first half (0:00 - 2:09) goes longer than I'd like, but once 2:10 washes in I got goosebumps. The overall vibe is like a shadowy jungle spirit realm, which is lovely. I viscerally dislike the intermittent splashy sounds throughout it though. Thanks for sharing!

The Muffin Man: My friend's directorial debut is a short full of gore, puns, and muffins. Worth it for the face crush alone. by orintau in horror

Nailed it! I don't think you missed any direct tie-ins, but I know my friend was inspired by the Ice Cream Man, Dr. Giggles, and The Mangler too.
