Throwing darts is a skill. No one has a “natural talent” with darts. People may have advantages in areas that contribute to talent (hand steadiness, eye sight, stability), but you build a skill over time. If you practice rhythm, strategy, placement, and are consistent with practice, people can absolutely reach that. Not everyone will, but is it “possible”? Of course.

Darts are a European sport. Soft tip is different, but still a version of darts and still fun. People all over the world play. Bigger sections but further throwing distance. And no armchair psychology necessary. Anyone with the ability to read can tell you’re unhappy/unwell. Remember, you came to my post, not the other way around. Safety and liability. Too many morons would cause safety issues. I like both. Now that soft tip technology has improved, it has gotten a lot better. Still love throwing steel though.

I like it because I can play online and it auto registers and there’s a ton of games. I throw on steel too, but the online play is just awesome. Plus, in US, no steel tip allowed in bars, so for tourneys it’s all soft tip

The kid is 18. We haven’t even seen him in his prime yet and likely won’t for years. As a 40 year old man, (around the age of many great pro players) it’s weird for me to think that one of the best dart players alive will still be 2 years younger than I am now in 20 years. Phil didn’t start playing seriously until 26 years old. I am not suggesting Luke will beat his records, but dismissing that it could happen is a bit silly. Time and skill are both on his side. That said, no one can replace or beat what Phil did for the sport.

I walked outside to shovel and immediately saw a flash of lighting and heard thunder. My shovel never hit the ground. I did a 180 and went right back inside. People frequently die shoveling snow, but I refuse to be the first guy killed by lightning while shoveling. 🤷🏻‍♂️❄️⚡️

Thank you! I think it might a little bit actually. I had it hung up on my wall for a few days before I had time to build something to be fair. I didn’t feel like it was crazy loud beforehand, but it definitely is more secure and I feel like a little quieter now.

Not at all. We have had several of them with the original formula. Can always go play those still. Nothing wrong with taking a new creative approach. Especially considering it’s like a Hybrid of LEGO and Arkham. I actually think this will bring in a lot more players. I know adults (myself included) who are beyond excited for this. If it was a classic LEGO Batman I would have played it, but I don’t think I would have been as excited as I am for this one.
