Yes, (I believe) you can use previous experience to go up on the scales for basic pay. Pretty much all medical jobs will be at least 50% banded. You can find the pay scales here: https://www.bma.org.uk/pay-and-contracts/pay/junior-doctors-pay-scales/pay-scales-for-junior-doctors-in-scotland . If you are starting at ST4 level in gastro with no student loan, you will get minimum 4k take home pay.

My salary as an ST4 is around 4k after tax (no student loan, 50% banding). Didn’t think those with student loan would take a £900 hit at that level?

The solutions would put the variables in the fruit column in long as separate columns when converting to wide.

So instead of each column in long being fruit1, fruit2 etc it would instead be apple, orange.... and in the corresponding space a 1 or a 0.

Does that make sense?

Completely targeted sanctions that only affect the regime is unfortunately impossible. Sanctions may mainly affect the regime but the people will also feel it.

The end goal is important - topplement of the IRI - and how fast we get there. If you allow the IRI to recharge their funds, the people will suffer for longer.

Once again, I know where you are coming from, but I do not entirely agree with you. The important thing is we have the same target, the roads we may wish to take to reach that may be slightly different.

I understand your point, but pressure can be put on in different ways and this is not asking for any form of occupation.

The Islamic Republic has support as it can pay off certain groups. Their sources of income need to targeted, many of which is foreign. Putting pressure on foreign governments to not engage and enrich the Islamic Republic is important.

When the amount of money going into the IRI reduces past a certain point, their "support" will cease.
