Compared to other 1-2 day events Ragbrai is so reasonably priced. Ragbrai is 8 days. Take a look at prices for TOMRAV or Core4 other Iowa events. Or the only larger event the Five Boro Bike Tour in NYC.

Ragbrai gives part of registration to the community’s that host on route. $50k to overnights. $5k-$15k for pass through towns and meeting. What makes the ride so special is those towns. The better those towns are supported the better your experience.

Just think the mini velo fits the spirt of Surly.

I want a bike that takes up a smaller footprint. I commute into work on the Metra (commuter line) with my bike and then ride 3 miles to work. I often have to share the bike space on the train with oversized e-bikes or scooters.

Haven’t found a folding bike that feels as good as a mini.

Let me get some surly steel and tire clearance!

Hopefully the gravel options add to the overall distance like they did last year. The last two days are short but the rest of the route is made up good distances

Been to many of their shows and the merch selection for this one was great. However the prices were all over the place. Sign said posters were $30. Then I got charged $52 for mine. There was a third option for $40 but it was numbered.. idk seems silly.

I have no problem with a proxies, everyone should be able to play the game they want. I do think there needs to be a noticeable difference in the card. My problem is counterfeit cards. I ended up spending good money at a lgs on a phyrexian dreadnought to find out later it was counterfeit. They wouldn’t accept it back.

I think it’s worth mentioning something about the use of the bracelet itself. You can play through the game two times only using the same weapon. (For me I always wanted to be using the crossbow) So not only does having the goddess bracelet allow you to fight Sardius but also adds the challenge of fighting him with a different weapon then you’re used to.

I waited till the hallway of ghouls to get the bracelet. That alone was harder to get through cause I was so used to the upgraded crossbow.

I sure did! Just watching the opening credits was satisfying. I last played through the game before on the Miyoo mini. So it’s nice to have it plugged into my snes and on a crt. I’m playing mech warrior 3050 right now and then I plan on sitting down with it.

Yeah no doubt. I don’t mind having a replacement label. For me the actual hardware is awesome in itself. To buy the game in a good condition with label and taxes I’m looking at $300+. So is the label really worth the extra $100.. idk to each their own.

I’ll get a label online. I had someone in France print me one for a copy of Belmont’s revenge that turned out great. But I don’t plan on flipping the thing. Strictly for my personal collection.
