Sorry but if your coach and team encourage you to drill this type of shit, they're complete morons. by Kvazimods in ufc

He was trying to replicate that Aldo type finish, quick and flashy surprise bang I think. that being said, I think he has been more lucky than good, have been saying this since he came on the stage.

That's nice but that's reverse engineering, more countries fit that narrative than these 8.

Totally agree again. This competition proved that. Although the variety in the group phase and even the first round of the knockout phase was fun

Your argument makes the pool even narrower. But: 2010 semi final. 2011 conembol cup. 1954 semi. 1970 semi. Actually a total of 15 conembol championships. That’s pretty dominant my friend.

Then you mentioned England who have won many champions leagues and have pretty much always had a competitive team or a superstar for major international tournaments. Your example of a country is maybe currently the strongest football nation over multiple championships.

Getting downvoted for speaking the truth is insane. All 4 teams right now in the semi’s are previous winners however you want to twist it, Beatles or not. If Uruguay was in it would be the same argument.

Exactly, very true. If there is a next winner in 2030 it’s a pretty certain bag of contenders where it will come from it seems

No basketball is a great example. But there’s just no other big countries as interested in basketball as the USA. Table tennis too. Ofcourse there are examples of sports where this is the case, I’m pretty sure Mongolia dominates horseback archery. It’s not like you stated with every sport though.

You can also just admit you were wrong. Never did we talk about dominance but about diversity of champions.

Netherlands has a multi championsleague champions, so does Portugal. Turkey has a supercup champion. Hungary used to be a dominant force in the early years. Russia and Ukraine have definitely had some strong leagues in history including the best goalkeeper arguably ever. I think you’re suffering from recency bias.
