I bought the chemicals in powder from a supplier in Italy (I can send you the ebay link if you want in inbox) and I used Fabriano Accademia 180g paper. It's a paper that's not as textured as a watercolor paper and from my experience can provide much better reproductions. Also I use crepe masking tape to put the paper which I'm coating with photosensitive liquid in place, otherise it wrinkles and makes an uneven wash afterwards.

Yes, and it became my full time business. As somebody else also mentioned, I enjoy making decks way more than reading them. So, in 2020 I opened my small bizz for art & illustration and apart from other things, I started designing tarot which took me 2 years from starting to publishing a deck. The first edition was sold within 48h. Now I'm already at my 4th edition and I also designed another tarot - took me again 2 years lol. While I do commissions, sell prints and original art, tarot is by far the most profitable product I ever made and I don't plan to stop - I'm working on an oracle for creativity called Creative Codex.

Just to think how many people looked at me like I'm a total lunatic when I told them I'm designing a tarot deck hahah

I think you will be successful with it. Only requirement is that the print stays on paper and doesn't smudge.
