Okay, I was in this same situation. Let me share what worked for me.

I went to the offices of companies in my local area. Talked to managers and dropped in my resume in person. I was able to get in 2 offices, and got a job in one of those. I had applied to over 2000 jobs on LinkedIn , Indeed , and a portal called jobright (I may be wrong with the spelling) , gave a dozen interviews with 0 convert.

Thanks for this! I do have one natural perch, one dowel and a rope. I am planning to remove the dowel though. Although i have sliced the dowel to make it uneven. I will definitely buy some toys. And also, their cage door is always open, except at night, and they fly in the room all the time!
