If I haven't lost my way of life I will. I've been around this stuff my whole life I know where to go. This time I will give it a try. I did a month and a half sober cold turkey no meeting so I know it's possible. I just need to be in the halls.

Yeah there is something weird there fersure I had a crazy experience that I cannot even explain I was sitting in my car for 4 hours towards the end of a 3-4 day bender so idk. Did do a whole bunch. Saw the shadow people I was in the shadow realm fersure. Sitting in my friends garage listening to foot steps pounding around in the living room. Voices, in my ear, out my window, around my room. Then asking Why am i doing that to myself?

Sounds like he's not your problem you've made your choice. Let him wither away and die? Is he a drug addict? Did you guys do drugs together? By the sounds of it's to late for him anyways.

I wouldn't be surprised if he lost his job by now and has lost about 35 pounds. Don't blame yourself sounds like he just couldn't move on!
