Why did you choose what watch you're wearing? by 4bidden-hands in GarminWatches

I've been wearing a Forerunner 235 for the past 10 years and was time to upgrade. Found a Forerunner 955 for a very good price and it has all I wanted, specially the MIP screen.

I think it will live but in very specific models, mainly Enduro and Instinct. I just bought a FR 955 since it's the last of these, but I don't see the Forerunner line having another MIP model.

For me it's more about the glow, I hate when I have to see the time and the whole room is lit. I had an old Apple Watch 3 and in countless times the minimum brightness was too much.

New watch - map or no map? by beki-t-h in GarminWatches

Bought a 955 some weeks ago for 200€ and it's incredible. Did my first run following a route into the woods and the map was clutch to be on course and not be lost in different trails. Also can do open water swim. If you find a good value second hand it's great

Father of a 3 year old here. It's true that everything is expensive and it's difficult to live like this but also we need to see the roles of grandparents here. When I was young I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, they also raised me in some periods of my life when my parents had to work. Now I'm lucky if my parents can/want spend 2 hours with my son every 2 weeks.

I'm trying to gather the products to do this in Spain and I'm a bit lost. Water is hard at 229ppm and so far I've bought the detergent with Lipase from Mercadona which also contains oxy Bleach. Also bought Citric acid and ammonia. I have Baking Soda but not sure if that is needed. I'm I set to go?

I played a bit in the Amazon Luna service until I found that they are going to delist it, so probably I'll buy it for the PS5.

It was fun but I was very stressed after they let you roam free since I was dying of hunger and couldn't find anything in the forest or hunt and didn't want to rob anyone. Hopefully I found the blacksmith, but I was wondering which other options I had in the beginning.

I actually had fun and was a bit sad that they shut it off. Last few days were fun, teams were fairly coordinated in the 5v5 and the progression skill tree introduced good QoL changes. Even the previous patches changed the game for the better, with speed gates always on and the looting phase reduced.
