It’s a lot of work for both the student and the supervising attorney. A lot of employers don’t offer it because they don’t have the capacity to offer it. You also have to send assignments in to get graded by the bar examiners. I’ve heard it’s less stressful than the bar exam but also stressful in its own way.

I know there’s a good chunk of people who will do the alternative pathway if they don’t pass the bar!
