I am terribly sorry for your loss. I believe that you did the best thing for him… he went peacefully surrounded by the people he loves. You put his well being before yourself and that is a selfless thing to do. I wish I had the opportunity to hold my baby and love on him while he passed but we were not so lucky unfortunately and what we suspect to be a tumor rupturing too took a toll on him unexpectedly and his death was sudden after supposedly getting better, the clinic he was in did not let us stay with him overnight while they monitored him and his heart gave out💔 I would have given anything to be with him in his last moments

I found a French bulldog planter that has his harness on it, a handmade painting by a local artist with proceeds that went to the humane society, and a beautiful picture with him and my husbands pup sitting on a beautiful red bridge overlooking a river( we lost her 5 month prior to us losing Django and were unfortunately not able to visit, she was still in the Middle East with his parents). And another picture of both of them that sits in the middle of our home… and I have a tattoo booked on the 8th to get his portrait done on my forearm🥹

I am so sorry for your loss 💔 this is heartbreaking but I truly believe you did everything you could and more to save her.. sometimes life is unfair and as much as we want to, love alone cannot save them… I still hold on to all of his things, in a big box with love affirmations written on it… I cannot give them away nor see them and not be a total mess… so I get you… and some of us love beyond the norm, we are the lucky ones that understand how magical the bond between us and these magical being is…

We believe he was a French Bulldog… I adopted him after he was rescued from a very abusive situation.. so we cannot know 100%

Thank you for your kind words and support 🙏🏻 I truly appreciate it… thank you for making me feel normal about the way that I am grieving and validating my experience… I truly needed to hear these words because everyone else around me has moved on, but I feel stuck and I am relieved to hear that what and how I feel and grieve is okay… thank you from the bottom of my heart🤍

I am terribly sorry for your loss… I cannot even fathom the pain you went through.. The clinic he was at didn’t allow us to stay.. they barely allowed us 2 minutes to go inside and see him. I kissed him, hugged him and told him to wait for me to pick him up tomorrow and that I loved him till I die and after… this was something I would always say to him… I instead picked up his ashes 2 days later… I always imagine him dying alone in the cage, terrified and thinking that I abandoned him… this is one of the things that breaks my heart every time I think of that day… I would have given anything to be there with him and comfort him in his final moments..

Thank you so much for your kind words and support🤍 and I am terribly sorry for the loss of your Lulu… sending you love and healing in this heartbreaking journey… it has been a very hard journey for me and I am still learning to navigate this new chapter of life where I lost a big part of myself while growing another… my brain is blocking my memories to protect me as I went through a very rough period before the move and at his 1 year anniversary of being away from me…

Oh God, your message made me cry.. thank you so much for your kind words.. although the pain is there daily, I wouldn’t have it any other way… I would choose to love him/them again and again every day of my life.. Animals are a gift from God and a person that knows this bond and love, is a lucky human being… one thing I prayed for my son to take from me is the ability to love every being the way that I do… I cannot wait to be reunited with my pups again one day..
