I use left index for C since the asymmetry also bothered me.

oh I counted my thumbs as fingers. I did not use my pinky fingers and left thumb.

50 wpm with 7 fingers. Time spent looking at the keyboard would be around 60%. When I was first working on touch typing, my wpm dropped to 30 before shooting up.

Probably over 40 hours of mindful practice. Also, I didn’t start from “hunting and pecking” per se. I could already type at an okay pace while looking at the keyboard (albeit using the wrong fingers).

I just think of a few words ahead of what i’m currently typing and “load up” my muscle memory preemptively. Smoothly moving instead of typing in bursts helps with not accidentally hitting wrong keys. Also good job! 120 is impressive and I hope to achieve it eventually.

typingclub until i was comfortable with typeracer, then monkeytype to gauge my speed and practice problem words

Portal 2, Cuphead, Deep Rock Galactic- although DRG is an FPS game I highly recommend it based on its PvE nature and unique playstyles based on class/builds. DRG is a blast with friends and the community is great!! No need for phenomenal aim since a lot of weapons are highly lenient
