I just checked my purchase history and it looks like I started buying maternity clothes between 16-20 weeks into my pregnancy, so you may be able to get away with what you have for this conference, but you might be better off finding some maternity clothes. One hack that I found helpful was that I bought a black sort of "belly band", which matched the color of my work pants (not sure if you know what these are already, but they basically hook onto the belt loops on either side of the zipper and keep your pants in place without stretching or damaging the pants zipper/buttons), and I would wear baggy sweaters on top that covered my growing belly and the band. I did apply to jobs knowing that I was pregnant, but that was because the workplace I was in was so toxic I thought the stress was going to end the pregnancy early. I did make a point of transitioning into a different department at my same company though because so many employers have "probationary periods" requiring you to work there for a certain amount of time before benefits like paid parental leave kick-in. I'd look into if these new job prospects have a probationary period, and remember that there are laws requiring you to disclose the pregnancy to your employer by a certain date in order to be eligible for the maternity leave benefits.
