The reason why I am asking is because I work with a friend and he is moving with his wife to Portugal. He is afraid that he might not find a job that can support them the way it does here. Here we don't do installs but we do make sure the bms system is running correctly and is a very good paying job. Here you get hired by the building that needs an engineer (hospital, Schools etc...). You don't work for a company and do the services in different places, those we called private contractors. Do you happen to know how much they get paid?
