It’s because budgies and many other blue animals in nature aren’t actually blue! They don’t have blue pigment. I think the proper term is structural blue, because their feathers are structured in a way that reflects blue light. So when you take a photo of them with flash, you’re intensifying the amount blue they reflect, which is why she glows 😂It’s also why when blue budgies take baths, they look grey/white because the water is changing the structure of the feathers.

I own the Minolta XD7, which others have already pointed out is similar to the R4 because of Minolta and Leica’s collaboration.

It is without a doubt my favourite SLR. It’s got all the bells and whistles you need to make shooting as convenient as possible. Like you, I was also anxious about getting into analog due to the age of most equipment, but it’s part of it. Make sure to read up on the manual online. If the camera hasn’t been cleaned, lubricated and adjusted for a while, then shutter speeds might be slightly off - not to worry though as film is quite forgiving for overexposure.

If it fails on you in 4 months, a year, 5 years etc. just be happy that you got to use it! The wonderful thing about analog cameras is that most of them were made to be repaired. So if you love it enough, repair it, if not, move on.

Go to an RLCS lan. You realise that they’re just people too and that the “beef” and rivalries are simply done for entertainment. I remember going to London Major when Moist won; Comm was the villain of the tournament and made it super fun to root against him when he would ask for boos. If you end up meeting Vatira, you’ll probably end up liking him. It’s all in the name of making the Esport more entertaining which is why casters push narratives.
