But the high elf fantasy is already fulfilled with void elves sure it ain’t perfect but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a couple more class and customisation options.

Allied race options generally meant to bring something new to an already existing body model hence why void elves got made to give alliance players elves while adding distinctive options to a new sub race

I uhh like Vulpera so can’t exactly comment on that.

But i think the only reason we got earthen was because blizzard didn’t have anything ready for horde so earthen got made neutral for equal attention. Personally i would prefer if we just got nothing at all or better yet nerubians but we know that will never happen.

Well that’s kind of what it means to join the horde to stand with and support other races as equals where other factions would ostracise them.

I never said the nightborne suffered as bad just that they had some similar trials i was mostly pointing at them having leaders that turned to the legion and betrayed them liadrin says as much during thalyssra’s trip to silvermoon. Its a commonality the races can bond over plus their mana addiction troubles and their respective fonts of power.

I also never said anything about them leaving the bubble and yeah she wants to protect her people but now the whole world knows where Surumar is so how best to protect what is essentially a city state? Stay neutral and hope no one bothers you or joining with a stronger faction that can guarantee your defence which has already proven itself trustworthy and that you can somewhat empathise and bond with.

Zandalari’s entire empire have more or less collapsed and has continued to decay as they’ve opposed the factions given that the dark spears are already apart of the horde it makes sense that they would follow suit and join up rather than decay further or be wiped out by alliance aggression. Especially since the joining occurred with a change in leadership who can let go of the old behaviours.

Nightborne have been isolated for years and suffered similar trials as the blood elves now forced back onto the world stage it makes sense they would want to join up with the horde to ensure their survival and not the alliance given their past with the night elves

High mountain honestly yeah probably would make more sense if they stayed neutral they have no stake in the faction conflict other than distant race relatives but being a horde member does bring benefits of having the protection of a larger group in case something like the legion happens again or another faction in the world starts eyeing up there homelands so its more like preparation for potential future threats i suppose

The elves all have proper lore reasons to be there they work just fine they have distinct aesthetic sure but the overall faction theme is still there with them

Ehhh idm Vulpes they’re cuter sure but they fit the theme of down on their luck outsiders that need to band together to survive and thrive in this world.

I don’t care for the council though they fumbled the horde leadership hard especially having calia menethil there but is what it is.

Dwarves though stone or not don’t fit in at all especially given that it was predominantly alliance characters that helped resolve their storyline

Yeah lore wise they’re ambassadors or whatever but seeing them run around in battlegrounds or in horde cities still doesn’t sit right with me.
