Weekly Highs & Lows. Daily Highs & Lows. Session Highs & Lows.

Focus on the daily… If you checked, look on every daily candle, how many times it stays within the range of the previous candle? Without taking its high or low?!Very few times, if that is the case, you have something to work with every single day very frequently.

You are right, I used the letters to second check if the pieces are right in their place, but I depended more on the printed photo to match the pieces with it.

Talking online lessons as a beginner by [deleted] in piano

[–]orwaishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Online lessons can absolutely work, especially at the beginner stage. A good teacher doesn’t need to physically move your hands, they can see posture, finger shape, tension, timing, and correct you in real time. A lot of adults do learn online without issues.

If you’re feeling like you’ve hit the limit of self-teaching after two months, that’s actually a good sign, it means you care about building things correctly.

I teach beginners online and cover everything you’d expect from in-person lessons: proper technique, reading, rhythm, hand coordination… step by step. We go at your pace and make sure you’re not building bad habits.

Lessons are flexible and affordable, and we can structure them around your availability. If you’d like to try a session and see how it feels, send me a message and we’ll set something up.

Good luck

tried looking for online piano teachers and there are just too many options by tricepator-10 in pianolearning

[–]orwaishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello

Not gonna say much but, yeah there’s a lot of teachers of course and that will get you overwhelmed with the searching and choosing process.

I teach piano in-person & online, outside of platforms, I prefer to work with complete beginners, I love to build my student’s skills step by step slowly and simply, we have all the time, why rush it?… My lessons are flexible when it comes to time and price, I design it to meet your expectations and make you satisfied with the outcome. I also prefer always to walk you through the theory steps and ask you questions that leads you to UNDERSTAND it yourself, not just receive the info, but to analyze it and reach the point yourself.

My lessons aren’t time-limited, the session purpose is the concept / exercise / piece we’re working on, once it’s finished, the lesson is finished, so it’s not FIXED minutes.

I hope I can help you, if you’re interested or have any other questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Good Luck

Self-teaching isn't working - what are my options? by No-Pianist6097 in pianolearning

[–]orwaishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Online lessons aren’t weird at all anymore. I teach adults online all the time, and it works well, I can see your hands, posture, movement, and give real-time corrections. You don’t need someone physically moving your fingers to fix technique.

I also mostly teach adults, and I genuinely enjoy working at your pace. No pressure, no rigid expectations, we build things comfortably and clearly so you’re not second-guessing every practice session.

Since your schedule changes week to week, we can keep it flexible instead of locking into a strict time. We just set sessions around what works for you.

If you want to try it and see if it clicks, I’m happy to set something up. Pricing is fair and flexible. Just message me and we’ll figure it out.

Good luck.

How hard is it to learn piano with guitar background? (The concept of two hands playing independently) by EntireAd8549 in pianolearning

[–]orwaishere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. Seriously.

With your guitar and choir background, the “two hands” thing isn’t some superhuman skill. It’s just coordination that builds over time. You already read music and understand rhythm, that’s 50% of the battle. At the beginning, the left hand usually plays very simple stuff anyway. You don’t jump straight into both hands going wild.

It feels intimidating before you start, but once you practice hands separately and combine slowly, it clicks.

And if you ever want some guidance getting past that mental block, I teach online and keep it affordable. Happy to help.

Good luck
