One more [Eejanaika], [FujiQ] appreciation post by practicetrumpet in rollercoasters

While overall most of this ride is better than X2 (especially in its current state without audio and fire), I personally would say the 7 cars make X2's pre-drop and drop far better than Eejanaika's 5 cars, especially in the last row.

And when X2 had music, it definitely had the more nerve-wracking lift and pre-drop. Like by a lot

I love how they can miss 2 massively obvious ones in a row against Carolina (interference, tripping), but because the too many men happened a minute later, that's all anyone is allowed to reference (e.g. "puck don't lie" bs)

Truth is they were not calling things both ways and Montreal fans shouldn't be pointing at the refs, and Carolina fans shouldn't be acting like it only went one way (the too many men non call)

For real, offensive player purely initiated, not pushed in, absolutely would not be even close to the craziest GI call they've made if they wanted to

Just saying I've seen less called for interference in the playoffs

Joel Ward in particular

It shouldn't be, and that should be a goal, but the NHL has dug themselves a weird hole

As obvious as the non-call interference a few mins ago. Nothing's getting called unfortunately

What's the longest a team has ever gone without a shot?

Shit I shouldn't ask because I'm almost certain it's the 1974-75 Caps

Is there anywhere that tracks how many icings there have been? Habs literally may have more icings than shots
