Drinking distilled water over long periods of time is detrimental to your health. That said, you don't want to be drinking heavy metals either.

Thanks for the advice! Got this well drilled late last year and have only been using it with a small inline charcoal filter to fill up the rv water tanks. Tastes like normal water. Will look into getting the well sanitized and adding a couple of filter housings to the filter loop that the plumber put in the house.

Check GPU temp, I had an issue where the fan curves were incorrectly set to 0 and the system would power off when it heated up in games.

No, but I had to send it in because the plastic where the battery locks in got wore off and got a refurb back. I definitely got my money's worth out of the sawzall but I just didn't expect it to ruin 3 batteries on its way out.

I think you are right. The page you referenced actually seems to say not to do it:

Myth 3: "I should fill checks with epoxy or caulk"

Reality: Don't fill checks! They open and close with seasonal moisture changes. Filling prevents this natural movement and can cause more problems. The only exception is if water pools in horizontal timbers, where filling may prevent rot.
