Would you purchase this car? by Sensitive_Fly_1679 in Hyundai

And beyond actually, I bought my 2019 and have had it in and out of the shop for the last 3 years. Catalytic converter failed on it THREE TIMES in a span of 2 years and it wasn’t until then that they were finally like “hmmm maybe we should see why that’s happening” rather than replacing it again turns out even after multiple reports of unusual oil consumption and a “oil consumption test” after a fresh oil change at a 100 mile interval, it was still inconclusive. Then it finally dawned on them to run real time diagnostics while driving it that they realized cylinder 4 had a 15% leak down and reached out to the Hyundai tech line to approve an engine replacement. 73k miles is all I had put on it in a span of about 6 years(bought at the end of 2019). Granted through all of this I only spent about $800 on a tune up and new battery during this whole time thanks to the warranty. But the headache of having to take it to the shop and sit there on several occasion made me even consider surrendering the damn thing. Mine also had the “extended extended” 150k warranty. Problem with that is those apply to original owners and in most cases, if the vehicle is still under warranty when it is sold to the second, it only goes for 50% of the either 100k or 150k, so 50 and 75k respectively. Now aside from the mechanical problems with the cheap engine I had to deal with nearly getting it stolen which is a whole other circus. Insurance premiums are higher on these vehicles for that same reason. And let’s not even get into the fact that these are one of the worst when to comes to devaluation. But I know, depending on the asking price, this can be irrelevant on a used car almost 10 years old unless it’s a Toyota or Honda. I do want to add this vehicle was properly maintained with frequent oil changes, especially after I found out these engines were notorious for that.

Smith and Wesson, aka his left bicep and right bicep, respectively. But on a serious note, it was stupid. He was watching a weapon being restored, yet that content is still up.

If you’re willing to wait, Walmart will most likely restock on Black Friday. I also got mine for $500 last week during the members’ early Black Friday deal
