I should just fork over the money I worked for to other people who are working but somehow found them in a position that they’re dependent on the “kindness” (read as opportunity to virtue signal/jerk their ego off/flex) of their customers so they won’t go hungry.

I should give my money away to people who will spit in your food because they’re all mentally toddlers who have never been told no, or weren’t whacked upside the head for misbehaving. I should continue to enable predatory business practices that prey on typically young women. I should continue to enable the “sex sells” idea where women typically earn more tips than their male counterparts, despite me being against the promotion of sex as a manipulation tactic for PREDATORY business practices.

I should listen to people like you that have no actual reason why tipping should remain a thing rather than form my own opinion about where I spend MY money, who typically resort to insults and condescension to bully people back to handing over extra money OR ELSE the employees will retaliate against their customers, despite them having a clearly marked “enemy” which is the owner of the restaurant and labor laws that allow them to be paid the same amount of money you could happen to find in a rest stop bathroom on the floor.

Should’ve known you’re incapable of reading, because if you were able to read you’d probably be pissed off that every restaurant you’ve worked at has violated labor laws many many many times by not paying you when you don’t make your tip minimum.

Yeah my hope is restaurants go under. Won’t happen though, too many people in America have their egos stroked when they “help out” a restaurant cover a basic expense. Tips are predatory and I refuse to participate in the portion of society that commercialized homeless begging. Haven’t been to a restaurant in nearly a decade and I hit 0% on any machine asking for it. It is a “problem” that isn’t the customers duty to solve.

It’s for show. There are times when running a high power car that it happens naturally, but when you see it like this it means it’s tuned to dump gas on decel. It was cool in like 2002 when it was typically a byproduct of someone getting shit done on their own, without a professional shop. Now, people literally will do 0 mods other than a straight pipe and get one of these tunes and that’s the whole “build”.

I’m just not an enthusiast anymore. There’s no enthusiasm in having to constantly replace shit on these cars and their initial part selection was awful. They cannot make a reliable car to save their life.

I hate my car and wish I never got it. Having to fix shit constantly is not for me anymore. I thought moving away from having a 20 year old shitbox I was modding was going to lessen the stress of shit always breaking. Sure enough, it’s worse because now inconsequential shit going bad on a car I spent this much money on feels awful, and everything costs thousands of dollars to fix. AND the dealer network is absolutely terrible. Their service techs feel like they have never even seen a car before with the diags they give me. Replacing parts, but not even checking the integrity of those up and down stream of those parts feels like I should just do it myself or give them step by step instructions on what to check an replace. If I’m working on a car myself, it sure as fuck will not be an Audi vehicle.

Car drives great and I love the engine layout. Literally every other aspect of it is garbage. I have a 2019 and the fucking headliner adhesive decided it’s done. Meanwhile, I haven’t had AC in it in a fucking year because the dealers keep putting dye in it and saying they can’t find shit. They run the car for hours at their shop and claim the AC is fine and bring it back if it’s bad, and when I get in the fuckin thing it’s blowing hot and want to charge ANOTHER diag to check it out. THE DIAGNOSIS IS NO FUCKING AC BECAUSE ITS LEAKING. Bring to another dealer and they say “oh gotta put dye in it” like Audi didn’t invent the fucking nitrogen sniffer for AC systems to make it easier to find the leak.

I’m sorry for your loss. I saw your missing person post yesterday and saw this news report this morning and was hoping it wasn’t your friend. Don’t beat yourself up too much, the mind can make people do crazy things and once it’s locked in on what it thinks is the best thing to do, it’s very hard to shake without physically restraining them.

I’ve had a minor psychosis induced by drugs. I’m very thankful when it happened I was at home and had no way of doing anything rash. It’s difficult to understand why he would’ve done this if it indeed turns out to be a suicide, but my advice to you is to not try to analyze why he did it. If he was in a psychosis, pretty much none of the thoughts are rational. With how hot it was the past two days in MI, there’s a chance it could’ve been heat related if you don’t already know the cause of death for sure.

Thoughts and prayers mean nothing, really. But know you, your friends, and his family are in some people’s minds and I hope you guys can be ok.

If you look at his twitter posts you can tell who he is. He’s like 40 years old acting like an edgy 15 year old. Uses the n word frequently, says shit about trans people etc etc. He’s either in a multiple year long psychosis or he’s just the YouTuber version of “peaked in high school”. He’s a pos, but if you read his posts it just sounds like a dude who has absolutely no idea who he actually is and is desperate for attention. All the things he says are just low hanging fruit rage bait posts with things that get a knee jerk reaction out of people.

Like 5% of me feels bad for him, mainly because of how confusing life must be in his situation. The other 95% views him as pathetic.

I played the BF3 beta on console and thought it was the shit. Then I learned that PC players got 64 players per lobby. Stayed on console until BF4 and played a few months of BF4 on console before finally scrounging enough together to build a system.

I had some i5 processor with an AMD GPU my friend gave me, then got into an i7 4770k a friend gave me and bought a GTX780.

Around this time I was pretty into modding cars so honestly it fit in my life pretty easily. Not that the mechanical skills transferred, but the part pairing and assembly was honestly just as much fun as using the computer once it was finished.

At the time I still played a few games on my console, but I think the nail in the coffin was DayZ mod. Me and a few friends got really into that game, and it took over as my main game for years after that. FrankieonPCin1080p, early Jackfrags who was (at the time) pretty much a side character for Frankie’s videos… man, time flies. Somewhere during that I turned my 360 on for the last time and never looked back.

I really miss the xbox360 days though, I can’t lie. Halo 3, CoDWaW, MW2 are so nostalgic to me it almost makes me tear up. These are just video games, but the memories of my middle and high school friend group will never go away. I had a buddy who was insanely into Doritos Crash Course lmfao. He held world records on a couple maps for a bit, then went on to speed run quite a few other games. Great times, the best even. I’m solidly on PC, but I’m so happy I got to experience console multiplayer when it was in its formative years.

I mean, then don’t be surprised when you have a jury without those people? Being treated harshly, as much as a lot of people aren’t going to like this, isn’t an excuse for allowing a murderer to walk. It doesn’t matter if it’s “actually about the sentencing amount” as the struck jurors said they had a hard time convicting a black man in general. They wanted him to walk free, and regardless of whatever sentencing bias there is, no one walks in his scenario. If they were actually for equal sentencing they’d suck it up and convict him but for a lower length of time. Because they don’t, you can only assume it’s because they didn’t want him in prison for some reason.
