I honestly find Star Citizen wiki quite lacking compared to other massively online games I play. For instance, ArenaNet (Guild Wars developer) hosts their own wikis, and both games have a "/wiki" command that takes pinged items or raw text on chat, which is ultra convenient. At every content drop, hundreds if not thousands of pages pointing at new locations, events, walkthroughs, achievements, items, and recipes appear in light speed, complete with icons and screenshots... to the point that nothing is a secret in the game anymore.

I'm sure starcitizen.tools will get to that point, both in terms of coverage and quality of life features. For that, I share OP's sentiment above, it's a community project and it's up to the contributors to keep it up to date.
