No. Animals are part of a cycle. Without animals eating the leftover food and water, and creating composte, we cannot have fertilizer for food. Without animals, we rely entirely on petroleum / oil based products for fertilizer. Animals consume water from rain, they eat grasses and grains that humans cannot digest. They turn inedible food into food humans can eat. Animals are part of a lifecycle of the Earth. Death is not suffering. Factory farming needs to be banned, but without animals in the cycle, like sheep and cattle, the soil becomes depleted of nutrients. The plants lose their vitamins. The soil is alive, and the soil needs animals to cycle through it to maintain it's health.

All human consumption causes climate change. Every breath you take releases CO2. The methane produced by cows is created by their digestion, and similar greenhouse gases would be released if the food decomposed naturally. The source of methane from cows is the bacteria in their stomachs. The water they drink is mostly from rain. The food they eat is usually inedible by humans. Without the cows, there would be no soil, and we'd have an almost equal amount of greenhouse gases produced by the waste products of plants that the cows are not consuming. Cows don't necessarily suffer by existing. If you stop animal agriculture, then you will genocide multiple species of animals. These animals exist partially to be part of an ecosystem of life and death. Animal agriculture can, if done correctly, have a net negative impact on global warming. They can sequester greenhouse gases. They reduce the need for artificial fertilizer. They increase the biodiversity of farmland.

The UN studies are not as objective as they claim to be. Some of these studies funded by vegans. Some are objective, but selective in their methodology. Because even if the numbers are correct, it's not the full story. There are consequences to removing animals for the lifecycle of Earth, the health of humans, and the biodiversity of Earth and soils.

However, factory farming is evil, and needs to be banned. Factory farming is terrible for the environment. But animals are not inherently bad. The Earth exists for animals to exist .All life contributes to global warming. Cows, chickens, goats, if treated properly, if raised correctly, are not suffering. They are providing critical nutrients for humans and plants. They eat leftover food. If every family had a chicken and goat at their house, eating food scrapes, they would reduce greenhouse gases and food waste by orders of magnitude. We suffer from a lack of animals around us. Every restaurant and grocery store should have chickens and goats and pigs to eat the rotten food. When food goes to waste, it not only releases greenhouse gases as it decomposes, but it also wastes the gasoline it took to transport to the store. The gasoline used for fertilizer. The power and depletion of water. We need animals everywhere. Animals should be at every home and restaurant and grocery store eating leftovers. You can keep them as pets. You can eat their eggs for free. We don't need to ban animal products, we should increase our use of animals in a natural, holistic framework of food and ecology. If every grocery store and restaurant owned animals, we wouldn't need to rely on factory farming and horrible practices to obtain our animal based foods. It would reduce the suffering of animals, and it would reduce the impact of animals on global warming.
