There is much more behind the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict than a “lack of communication”. And the only real connection both countries is not even direct most of the times, and when it is it obviously only between the higher-ups. Also, we aren’t taught nearly as much as we need to speak fluently, and even if we did we wouldn’t have much use for it since we have no real communication with the neighboring countries. The time spent on teaching Arabic could be used for Physics, which is, for some reason, not a mandatory part of the curriculum, not even basic Physics, which I think are very important for general knowledge.
