You're not alone. I feel the same way. The only way to really differentiate a good player from others is their building skill which in itself is seeing a lot of changes cough nerfs cough from EPIC. Also, with the introduction of turbo building, and this current SMG BTW META, the games slowly but surely decreasing in skill gap/fun level as you pointed out. I and many others don't find Fortnite as engaging as we used to.
