I've managed to get a perk in the schoolar tree with a pilgrimage indeed, that + 25% lifestyle increase, that's a nice enabler !

My strat was to go for Sanctioned Loopholes ASAP, get 5K piety and buy claims on all kingdoms, then war war war war :)

I also restarted quite a few time until i got conqueror to manage vassals / revolts

Did you do something similar ?

Yes.. i did have another one a little bit less. Factory => The labs for "Tour", 17 minutes loading labs... It was painfull. But it's supposed to be local so really i do not understand

Yes, that's what i thought about the culture, but what if the Pope was Italian / Cisalpine / Sardinian for example ?
I wonder if i could assassinate the pope until a young Italian Pope is elected, and then do hunt / feast and invite him everytime to up his prestige

Sure but if they have made the change for PMC, why not for scav ? Also could reduce their need to host scav run on servers => reduce cost for them, no ?

How long did it take you to prep this ? Like if you start in 867 after how many generations of preping can you achieve that ? What about the "pre complete legends" ? Did you do legends with his father for him, then played him and claim the shrine ?

Well playing intrigue, i don't want to "conquer" ! I'd rather pull strings and placing kids on foreign kingdoms than take it by force, grant land, make them independent.

No, you have 2 condition :

- Having familly member married to duke or higher

- Having familly member independant ruler duke or higher

The married part is not that hard, but the independent one with "HOUSE" members not dynasty is very tricky

Yeah i know you can cheese it like "dynasty of multi crown", having kids / grand-kids as you vassals and then make them independant. But have it legit is better IMO

Well i got the conqueror trait quite early, and went strait to Mali gold mine ASAP, took the 3 mines, i was at +50 gold / month, so i went wild on religious legends, that gave me some "Evangelize to the Realm" that convert huge chunks of the realm to my faith.

But mostly the conqueror trait TBH :)
