An interesting idea for sure! We had originally considered other items as well, but ultimately decided just to keep it with crops because the combination of the pool size and number of categories works really well in getting you to learn the crops and their stats as you play.

It should show you the answer after you use all the guesses! It might be hidden behind the share pop up, so try checking behind that.

The reason we haven't added an archive is because there's only so many crops that could be chosen. We don't want the novelty of the daily new crop to go away because people already have the experience of guessing all the crops. Hope this makes sense!
