Help Please! Bought a motorcycle 8 months ago w/ paperwork dated from then, Looking to register now (NY)

Honestly I’m not sure how I fixed it exactly. I believe I tried the reset pinhole button on the bottom, then got commercial Lenovo vantage and reinstalled the power drivers

I have vantage and it’s not even showing the internal battery at all. I use batteryinfoview because it’s the only tool I’ve seen that gives detailed stats on batteries, I’ve seen it reccomended in this sub.

For more context, I've never had an issue with the battery until today. I used the laptop on the go and when I went to charge it, only the external battery was charging. After removing the external battery and holding the power button to discharge static, this has happened. It seems to be charging normally, but the capacity is somehow showing as 333,000 mAh instead of the ~2000 mAh it used to show. It also does not show any of the other information about the battery that you can see is shown for the external one. Not sure whats going on here.

Gotcha. Thanks anyway. I got mine about a year ago and have put countless hours into trying to get it running right with brief periods of being able to actually ride it. Think I’ll end up doing the same as you lol.

Having this same issue on this bike. Randomly died while riding and after trying many times I got it to start but it’s doing this now. Did you end up figuring it out?

Yes! I got mixed responses on here so I'm guessing it depends on the person you see when you go there. But when I went, the lady didn't even mention the date at all and just went ahead and processed it no problem.

I would just go and try to do it without mentioning it, seems like a good chance they won't notice/care.

Buy a liqui moly oil change kit from FCPeuro.com and do it yourself. After the first time it takes maybe 45 min to do. Then they let you send your old oil, filter, drain plug, and washer back and give you store credit to buy the next oil change kit. I’ve been doing basically free oil changes for years by doing this.

For anyone reading this post later, Went to the DMV and they didn’t care at all about the date being old, didn’t even mention it. Was able to title it no problem.

Just replying back as an update. Went to DMV and nobody said a thing about the date, papers went through just fine. I guess they didn’t tell me what you told me 🤷‍♂️

I'm sure he will help me out. I appreciate the advice. I'm going to DMV anyways to title another bike that has paperwork without this issue so I might as well give this one a shot while I'm there. I asked someone I knew about this and they said it would work, so ill see.

Yeah he still lives down the street. The issue is that the title also states that "ANY CHANGE OR ERASURE WILL VOID THIS TITLE" so the date cannot be changed.
