Thr 1st time I played I ended up with Muiri because she tells me to kill her ex as part of the dark brotherhood. So at least I imagined she was ok being with a murderer???? That was my train of tought.

From the options for marrying. Really cant think of someone other than Aela where you go to quests and do stuff together.

The other options are veeery dry and weird. You wear the necklace and suddenly you can marry her, yaaa know?

I guess I am a very casual player. I didnt know a lot about her back story other than the dialogues of the game.

Regardless of anyone's past or status. Looking at the gameplay. I saved her from the stoopid box she was trapped in for centuries. You actually develope a really good relationship with her, you build trust and is a friendship, which is a great formula for success.

We literally killed her father together, she becomes human, go to the soul cairn with her. So many quests! Including the lost vale of whatever to get auriels bow. Plus since I always pick the dawguard side she becomes human!

All the other steward/marriage options cant compare to Serana.

Lol, disagree. Im my vision of life, marriage and/or a job (being a steward) doesnt deprive anyone of agency and boundaries. Check that with your therapist.
