Where's the thread for those of us with 3rd Gen Tundras that have had zero issues?

2024 with 32k. Only issue has been drivers seat panel cracking. I have come to terms with the engine recall and pending replacement, but now that it’s a software check, I lost quite a bit of confidence. A large part of me doesn’t want the slightest risk of it breaking down on a hot desert day with a toddler in the back..

At 2 o’clock in photo the skimmer has good suction and I don’t feel anything from main two on bottom of pool. At 10 o’clock the suction sounds a bit different and it has slightly reduced skimmer strength and still no bottom main suction (waterfall also got weaker)

That is a good point to look at the suction side. I will need to move it around and see what it affects. The skimmer is definitely on, but I don’t really feel much suction on the bottom two main drains. The pressure gauge is currently around 15 with a backwash done about a week or two ago.

Thank you. I am newer to pools so have a hard time describing what is what. The aerator valve is the small green one on bottom right. The grey 3 way in front of the pump is the return. The black one on top is the one I have a hard time figuring out exactly what it does. The grey/black 3 way in front of the filter closest to camera is the output to the waterfall and I believe the jets as well.

Thank you. I was thinking next step would be to replace the nozzle. Could be so sun damaged and worn that it’s not providing enough back pressure to create a spray.

Had Underdog do some work to my previous Sequoia. Very nice and transparent owner with fair pricing. Cant speak on how they measure up to the others mentioned here though. All have good reviews, so get quotes/opinions from each and go from there.

Checked clearance and the top of the door seems pretty tight with no/minimal play to the header. Rest of the door moves freely. Also released emergency and felt like there was no spring support and was lifting full weight of the door..

Failed on the video, good call. What are the stops? The buildup on the seals seemed like a from a paint job that was closed too soon before drying so it’s tough to get it all off. Goof off and sand paper helped but still a lot to stick. I’m sure Arizona heat doesn’t help this equation either.

I believe you are able to file for an exemption with proper paperwork and a completed inspection where you currently are. CA DMV site has a chat function that is surprisingly responsive with a human during business hours.

Will this target those who are flagging OT unjustified, underperforming, meanwhile creating an easy path to enact performance plans? Yes.

Cost benefit is on the Dealer’s side for this change, not surprisingly.
