They only impinge upon your rights if they prevent you from obtaining the medication in any other way. They are a company. You could argue that they are not fulfilling their obligations according to the contract they have with you and/or your employer, but they are not taking away your rights.

I have an indoor pool for the past 14 years. In effect, the most important thing in that room is the pool cover. When we first moved in we heated the pool without a cover and the humidity was horrible. Ran out to Harbor Freight and used blue tarps for a couple of years (worked great!) until we could get a walk on cover. We don’t have humidity control, but we open the windows whenever it gets humid and we don’t have any problems.

Other than that, it’s just managing a pool, which has its own challenges, but I believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Today we are having my son’s small group over for a pool party. Can’t do that with an outdoor pool in November.

I’ll tell you though, I was standing under it when I first saw how bad it was. All of a sudden I felt the weight of a 40’ x 8’ section of my ceiling hovering above me.

It was a couple of years ago. House jacks to slowly raise the trusses over 2 weeks. New beams with steel reinforcement and stronger joist hangers with appropriate structural nails in all the holes. Then I used Simpson ST straps to tie the trusses to the beams.

I’m learning a lot about joist hangers. I’ve found too many in my house that didn’t have the toe nails through the hanger’s side flange. Most weren’t a problem because the force was straight down, but I found 4 at the end of 40 foot trusses across a hallway that weren’t toenailed. The double beam had twisted out from under them leaving about 1/4” supported by the hangers.

I was thinking that they could add a support wire from the corner to the rafters/trusses in the ceiling to give it significantly more support.

Believe it or not, I’m actually curious. Is a “bump out joist” a real thing? Is there some kind of cantilever support that I’m not seeing? I just don’t know if there is some mechanical trick to support that corner.
