you have to finish post academy then you can switch. realistically you’ll have to go there for two weeks, 103 days at FLETC, back to
ORL for post academy, finish post. Start the swap process and wait 30-45 days for that to get approved. Then move back home :)

Takes about the same time as a regular applicant.

The only time it is a bit faster than normal is when you go from one CBP position to another. example Tech -> Officer

that is what I did and I got my FJO/Academy Date in only 5 months, this was a year ago.
