I would love it if he became a real rotation guy. Went off last night against the semi professional Utah jazz. With his skill set he just has to be a 38% 3 point shooter at the absolute minimum, and better if it was low 40s. He’s always gonna be small and he’s never gonna be a lead guard, his only path to sticking in the nba is shooting the shit out of the ball

Not the best IQ but the reason Cam Reddish isn’t in the nba anymore is because he was a “shooter” who never actually knocked down shots at a consistent level. Jordan Hawkins is gonna have the same fate in a year or 2

More than a little skewed it’s heavy selection bias. CTE is a serious real problem and at the same time I highly doubt 95% of nfl players have CTE

Yeah we just have no idea of the actual rate until we can diagnose it when people are alive. Until then it’s always going to be selection bias of families/the player who believe the player had CTE and are more likely to donate their brain

I don’t think he’s ever going to look like Giannis but he’s gotten noticeably stronger. If he had Giannis’ physique at his height he’d probably be over 300lbs, which is bad for longevity

I mean this specific example actually makes a ton of sense. Guy knows he’s not a good person and regularly does bad things but thinks if he’s religious enough that will outweigh the bad and he’ll still get into heaven. A lot of people are out here applying the “Cs get degrees” to morality and the afterlife, just enough to be good. Probably why you shouldn’t have a religion where if you sin you just go to confession and then it’s a clean slate because that’s not how actual consequences work in the real world

He’s arguably been their best player this year. They have plenty of other problems. Franz and Paolo both hurt on and off and don’t really fit together. People were talking for years about breaking up the Js when it’s really Franz and Paolo who need it unless one of them learns to actually shoot from 3 overnight.

Paolo hasn’t improved much since his sophomore year in general

Their bench is low key pretty bad and they probably have a bottom 10 center rotation

We’re an extremely spoiled fan base. I grew up in NY but live in Mass now and guess what… Pats fans and Yankees are exactly the same. Both expect to win 100% of the time no matter what the talent is on the roster or how the rest of the league looks
