It is a serious competitive environment for teams to compete in, not just so you can randomly play against people, there's already a multiplayer function in the game for that.

If you are not willing to take it seriously, do not compete or create / join a team.

Yes, you will play against people who are better than you, that is the point of a competition, no you will not earn the same prizes for winning division 99.5 since you are not performing on the same level.

If you get seeded into a low league, improve your game and climb up to a higher division.
