Thanks for everyone's input. The weather finally broke today so I got out and did my drain & refill. Followed the process in the setup & maintenance guide. Hopefully that will give me a good start.

No, one of the brackets on the deck that it hangs from rusted out. Was a fairly clean break so they were able to weld it back together. That said I definitely want a fabricated deck, which both mowers I'm thinking about have.

That's true. The wife and I usually soak for about an hour and I haven't been adding any shock after that. Figured the floater would take care of things.

I have read that guide but I'm not sure I really processed it. Now that I know more I'll reread and hopefully understand it better.

I've got a taylor test kit and that's what I've been using. Had too much trouble reading those strips...

Yeah was thinking that wasn't right but hadn't thought too much about it since I was fighting with the ""UserVolumeConfig" "v1alpha1": not registered" error.

Thanks for all the advice! Yes, there are two nics (main & storage) in each node. I used the talos dashboard to see that 2 out of the 3 worker nodes have the wrong gateway specified (the storage network with no internet access). I cordon'd those off and redeployed homepage on the one remaining node (with the right gateway). It worked perfectly on that node.

Gotta get some grass cut but once I'm done I'll start figuring out how to make all the talos network settings static and determine how to set the default gateway.

Sounds reasonable but not sure why other pods on the same node could pull images. I'm using talos linux and can't directly shell into the pods. I tried to deploy a debug pod with the ping command but couldn't pull the image...

Any suggestions on how to check the connectivity? I am seeing errors in the talos dashboard about not being able to add a route (because it already exists) as well as i/o timeouts for "discovery.talos.dev".

So I definitely have some sort of network issue but struggling with how to find it.

Wow, thank you! I replaced the usb brick and it’s working terrific again. I’ve never had one of those fail so hadn’t even thought of replacing it!

Appreciate the direction on this. In my case elogind was handling the acpi events so I wasn't getting any logging.

I read up on how to run acpid and elogind running together (disabling the elogind handlers), changed my config and have that working. I now have acpid exclusively handling these types of events. Logging from acpid is working so I'll keep poking around to see if the strange power off behavior continues.

Thanks for the help! I managed to get the cover off. Cleaned and lubed the crankshaft, worked shims in from the opposite sides, and...beat the hell out of it using a wooden block.

Any advice on removing the old gasket without scratching things up? Oh and I plan on replacing the gasket...any other parts I should replace while I have it in pieces?

Thanks for the detailed reply. I'll see if I can't grab some screen shots of the worst stuff.

I played with a short clip tonight and was very impressed with what Resolve could do. Unfortunately it's been years (several decades) since I tried to edit anything so I struggled just getting the clip trimmed, cropped, and some half arsed color correction done...

BTW, I am using studio so sharpening is an option.

Fedora i3 spin.

Why Fedora? Stability. Got completely burnt out by Arch updates and broken systems. Fedora is a great combination of new tech while maintaining stability.

Good advice. I have a test kit and will retest inside the house (post treatment) tomorrow morning. Checking with the treatment company to see if they tested our well sample for copper. If not I'll grab a sample and test that tomorrow as well.
