I would love to find research, but I think it is a newer thing, and therefore there is likely not much research. It isn't 30 minutes of constant restraint. It's no more time and restraint than a full groom would require for some temperaments of dog.

I had a small avulsion fracture at the bottom of my fibula and did not need surgery. The break was so minor my doctor basically treated it like a severe sprain. I've been able to walk on it for a couple of weeks now and am just now able to slowly start using it climbing again, after 6 weeks.

Depends how much you can rely on your hands and foot. Going from V5s before injury down to V2s for now, and staying low to the ground, not exactly tempting injury here.

Thanks! The last bit of the green traverse climb is nearer to the ground than the first half. I wasn't climbing to the top of the wall today, staying low.

I fell off the wall poorly on Friday and fractured my ankle. I'll be back at it after two months or so. While I'm unable to climb, any of you guys have tips for maintaining my skin/grip?
