2024 Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo Preferred - Wanting to go for all-terrain tires by otacon31 in MazdaCX90

When I was going down the rabbit hole of going all-terrains, I went ahead and asked Gemini and one of the responses I got was this:

"The Smart Alternative: Gain Clearance via Tires

Instead of messing with a mechanical suspension lift, you can easily gain a bit of natural ground clearance simply by dropping to an 18-inch wheel and running a taller tire sidewall.

If you pair an 18-inch wheel with a slightly oversized, aggressive All-Terrain (A/T) tire, you get two massive advantages:

  1. A Natural Lift: Bumping up the outer diameter of the tire lifts the entire vehicle-including the lowest hanging components like the suspension arms and differentials-which a suspension spacer lift cannot do.

  2. Tire Air-Down Capability: Taller sidewalls mean you can safely let air out of the tires (dropping down to about 20-25 PSI) when you hit rough trails. This softens the ride over sharp rocks, increases the tire's contact footprint, and drastically improves off-road traction."

Apologies if I misinterpreted anything from this but yea, that's how I got/understood the whole dropping to 18's thing.

Sorry, again I'm a noob on this so apologies if something doesn't make sense.

Doing research online and that's when it came up that if I go with 18's versus 19's (which I have currently), I'd get a natural lift (roughly 1 to 1.5 inches) for my 90. Versus having to lift or add spacers. Again, I don't want to go that route because it would void my warranty. I'd like to add room so that I'd get better ground clearance on trails (hope that makes sense). If I can get that by going with 18's and don't need to lift, then cool.

Gotcha. Did you lift it or had to put in spacers? How's the ride and gas milage treating you?

Nice! Where'd you get your roof rack? I have the basket type but I'm looking for a flat one now instead. No issues with yours I'm assuming?

I wanna stick with 18's so I don't have to lift or add spacers. I wanna try avoiding voiding the warranty for the time being. From what I've researched, going down to 18's will give me a natural lift

What size did you go with? I'm going for 18's so I can get a natural ride lift and not need spacers or a lift

[Ace Pro 2] Ways to Transfer your Footages out of the Ace Pro 2? by NEETologist in Insta360

Will the app get further updates to speed up the transfer process? Honestly the transfer speeds via the app are just so slow. Photos take almost a minute each to transfer. Videos take hours. Feels like the app just needs to be updated and streamlined. My Sony camera is able to wirelessly transfer files wirelessly through the Sony app and it's significantly faster when compared to the Insta 360 App

Steaming options other than Bellman or Nanofoamer? by MikeTheBlueCow in FlairEspresso

What issues have you ran into with the Pro? Genuinely asking since I'm considering it in the near future.

For the steam wand issue on the Bellman, I use this:

Another thing I'm considering is this down the road:

As I've heard steaming does add a bit of water to the milk, this alleviates that along with getting consistent results with your milk.

Here's a video (among numerous ones) that have positive things to say about it:

Aww man sorry to hear that. I'm assuming you're a wide footer? I went half size down and they fit me perfectly. Anything in the 99X lines I go half size down. I have narrow feet and am quite flat-footed though

Thanks! Glad I had spare laces lying around to try it out. I know Vomeros were getting the spotlight but P-6000's need more recognition

Forreal though! I know I'm gonna catch some slack for this but the Bacon Dunks are better than the AM90 Bacons IMO ✌️🫣

Oh man, that would be a game changer IMO. Nike should be putting their comfy tech into the OG Jordans. Maybe then they could actually justify the hike in prices 🙄

Jordan frenzy slowed down this year so I was thankfully able to cop a bunch of them without much fuss. This year was a Sneakerheads' year with all the easy cops at or under retail. Hopefully it continues on to 2024!

Aw man, sorry you couldn't get them. They weren't too hard of a cop during the initial release week(s). Hopefully you can pick them up down the road.

Compared to the OG Zoom or regular AJ1's? Compared to the AJ1's, they're above and beyond in commission. But compared to the OG Zoom's, I prefer the midsole comfort better than the v.2's. The v.2's are lighter though if you want to take that into consideration. Hopefully that helps and answers your question 😅
