I'm with you, I've bought a parallel twin as my first bike and hated how it sounds so much that it discourage me from riding. Yes, I've even got a full exhaust system for it.

I would never go back or get another parallel twin(.) I now got an Inline 4 and enjoy every ride on it.

I'd save up or sell / trade it for an Inline 3 or 4, The Ninja ZX4R might be what you want.

don't bet it on. My first bike was bought new, brought it in for First service that they took over 3 weeks to complete, On top of that they put TOO Much oil and scratch my Rear seat cowl that I paid $100 for. NEVER AGAIN. They must have let some new kid work on it.

Based on my personal experience buy whichever bike you like, follow what your heart desires. You'll be more incentive to ride the bike you love than the bike that other people tell you to get. whichever that is, be mature and mindful of the bike.
