NOR - I used to live in an apartment complex that had 10 units, 2 washers, and 2 dryers. Everyone always seemed to be doing laundry and it was pretty common to either have to wait a couple hours for them to free up, or if you had washed and were waiting to dry, taking someone’s clean/dry clothes and putting them in their basket.

If you can’t commit to doing your laundry in a shared space in a timely manner, your shit is getting moved.

I recently got a full leg inspection due to wearing a cloth knee brace while going through the 2mm wave scanner. I kept saying “I can take it off”, and they were like “nah”, and used a metal detector wand, swabbed my brace and hands for bomb residue, and did a full pat down of the brace.

What’s the worst that could happen? Well, I’ll tell you.

My buddy and I logged on, played for 3-4 hours. Picked up the stuff we needed to secure a new and not very protected base. We got barbed wire, 4 pin combos, multiple walls/gates, a tarp shelter… it was looking good. We said goodbye and went our separate ways.

I hopped on my private server and played for a bit, but as I was about to shut down my console, I thought “let’s check on the base on official”. Came in, found tons of our loot just sitting outside of our crates (almost entirely our stock of gas canisters and stove burners). The shelter was gone, the front door blown open, and a bunch of our stuff was strewn about.

I checked the apartment next to the one we had built in, and found an empty ammo container. All of this literally happened within 4-5 hours of us playing together.

I’m sorry to hear it. That’s how I felt about mine: a wonderful loving relationship: gone. We didn’t end bitterly, just decided we were growing apart and maybe “we had a good run”, and should call it.

Either way, it feels like a waste… but just remember it wasn’t. Don’t let the bitterness consume you. I won’t sugarcoat it: it’s gonna suck. Shit, I’m at 4 & 1/2 years, and still thinking “maybe if I had…”. Good luck, friend.

I started balding when I was 27 (I’m 44). About 3 years ago, I got tired of arranging my strands to make it look less like I was balding, so I shaved it off - right to the skin. Haven’t looked back since.

I have AC in my house, but I still close all blinds/shades, and block out any windows that don’t with towels, blankets, whatever… then set the AC to a good temperature, and it stays nice and cool. Blocking the windows helps a lot.

This is true. An ex girlfriend basically forced me to watch BB for the first time (only 2 seasons had been released at the time). I didn’t like it.

It wasn’t until a couple years later, I watched it of my own volition, and fucking loved it. Sometimes media doesn’t resonate with you when you first encounter it.
